12 landscapes for a 2013 calendar
Just before Christmas I gathered together a few landscape images and created a calendar for 2013. It was hard to narrow it down to 12 images, but I got there in the end.
I thought I’d share those images.
These shots bring back memories of some the off the beaten track places that I’ve been to in recent years, including shots from China, Mongolia, the Afghanistan – Tajikistan border, Kyrgyzstan and the Turkey – Iran border.
January

February
China’s Muztagh Ata in Xinjiang again, this time seen from an observatory in Tajikistan.
March
Ger camp in Gorkhi-Terelj National Park, Mongolia.
April
One of many beautiful views on the way back down Huangshan (Yellow Mountain) in Anhui province, China.
May
A view of the plains beneath Mount Ararat seen from the road leading to the Turkey – Iran border crossing in eastern Turkey.
June
